Water Van in 4th Grade

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

As a class we went to the corral to go to the Water Van presentation. They came and showed us cool stuff. First, they told us we were talking about wetlands and we played a game. Next, they showed us some animals. Then, they demonstrated how wetlands help us. Last, they showed more cool animals. Then they said goodbye.

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

2nd grade was visited by Mrs Peterson’s dad, Joey Murdoch, this week to learn a little about music.
Joey has been playing musical instruments since he was in 5th grade. He first started with the ukulele. In 6th grade he learned to play the trumpet and the French Horn. He played the French Horn all through high school, at UVU, and at the University of Utah, where he played in the marching band. Today he knows how to play all the instruments in a band, the pipe Organ, and more. He continues to play the French Horn in performances.
