We loved having Thanksgiving Point come to our 3rd grade classes to teach us all about Science! We spent time talking about living, non living, and once living things. Using a magnifying glass, we each looked closely at living organisms. It was so cool to see them up closely! After that, we each were given tulip bulbs to cut apart and look closely at. How interesting they were! Everything looks amazing close up with a magnifying glass! Last, we put together a terrarium to keep in our room with a few living things.
Today in Ms. Craner's class we learned about our veteran's through a poem. We then colored cards for them. We have been learning to write with our partners, so today we wrote a letter to a Veteran with our partner. As partner's we decide on our sentences together and then each take turns writing one word at a time. WE LOVE OUR VETERAN'S AND ARE GRATEFUL FOR THEIR SERVICE.
I’m writing to let you know about a unique opportunity you have to weigh in on the future of our community, while also earning funds for our school.

Every student made a pledge to be kind everywhere by signing their name on a paint brush to be displayed.
