For Martin Luther King Jr. day students in Mrs. Clare’s class studied Dr. King and wrote informational essays about him. Then, students learned about Andy Warhol's unique style of artwork and created “Andy Warhol” inspired Martin Luther King art. Students had a blast blending bright oil pastel colors together to create their own Martin Luther King Jr. masterpieces.

Vianne: I loved the beginning when the princess was acting like a statue and then started singing!
Cooper: I liked the battle!

Love is in the air this February!

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on
Mrs. Peterson's first-grade class has been working on learning how to write personal narrative stories.  Since it was February we decided to write about what makes us feel loved.  As each student shares their story, it's amazing how often it is the little things that make us feel the most loved. So, we try to remember to always be kind. An added bonus is, our writing is looking good!

Kindergarten Earns Gold Medals

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

Kindergarten has been working hard reading as much as they can and earning Gold Medals.  Today they celebrated with a pajama day! Kindergarten students also received their School Shirts.  It was so fun to have Miss Balli and Miss Ledingham celebrate their successes and pass out the children’s shirts.  Great work Kindergarteners!
