Mrs. Anderson's class was lucky enough to receive 18 character education books through donations on a Donor's Choose project. Teaching children how to deal with their ever changing emotions can be a difficult task, and these character ed books allow them to connect to book characters to change how they behave in hard situations.  A favorite so far is Recess Queen by Alexis O'Neill. Recess Queen talks about including others and not being a bully on the playground. Fourth graders are eager to keep learning how being their best selves!
