Fractions in third

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

3rd graders have been exploring and learning about fractions since we’ve been back from the break. They have discovered how, as the denominator gets bigger, the size of the pieces of the whole get smaller. We’ve also explored comparing fractions and equivalent fractions as well!  Way to go Mustangs!!

Fourth grade lunch workers

Mrs. Anderson's class was excited that they have finished keyboarding and were able to get back to helping in the lunchroom. They enjoy spending time with our fabulous lunch employees, serving their friends and siblings, and doing their part to keep our school great! The lunchroom at Meadow Brook is a fun place to be!

Celebrations in third grade

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

In Mrs. Ashman’s third grade we have started a tradition of writing compliments on the board to celebrate birthdays. Each student writes something kind and uplifting and the birthday student gets to read them, and get a picture! It has been so fun to see how kind and positive these students really are!

Thank you parent volunteers

Our Christmas parties were a blast, thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers! Our students loved having them with us to celebrate. We could not have done it without them! These parents definitely made our happy holidays much brighter!
