After writing argumentative essays on whether or not America should keep or get rid of the penny, Mrs. Gregory's class used their arguments to write scripts for a courtroom scene to bring their writing to life. The students did a great job gathering evidence to support their arguments. Each time the the courtroom scene was performed, the jury voted to keep the penny!

Meadow Brook's final habit for the year will be Habit 8: Find Your Voice. From now to the end of the year, students will focus on being able and willing to discover their strengths and talents. Finding your voice means that you are patient with yourself. It takes time and a lot of positive self-talk to discover your own greatness.
