This week during library time, we learned how fun it can be to act out favorite picture books. Younger classes acted out 10 Fat Turkeys, by Tony Johnston, and enjoyed jumping off “the fence” when it was their turn. Older classes performed a reader’s theater of the book Turk and Runt: A Thanksgiving Comedy, by Lisa Wheeler. Some students were the readers, and did a great job using strong voices and reading their parts with expression.

We then picked 3 facts to share and then stated 2 opinions that we had about jellyfish. Ask your second grader what they think about jellyfish.
