Last week, Meadow Brook 4th Graders got a visit from the Utah County
Stormwater program. We've been learning about the water cycle in
science, and this presentation fit right in with what we're learning.
We know that water evaporates when it is heated by the sun, then
attaches to dust particles and forms clouds. The water condenses back
into a liquid and falls to earth as precipitation. This water collects
in earth's lakes, rivers, oceans, and streams.
The Stormwater presentation taught us about "villains" that pollute
Utah's water, and how to fight them. If you have questions about
keeping our drinking water safe and clean, just ask a fourth grader!
