In Computers the Kindergarteners have been practicing mouse control, learning about what a computer is and parts of a computer.  We are getting better at controlling where we click with the mouse. We have been doing iReady and excelling at how to navigate iReady.  We earned our first Game Day!  We have fun playing games on the computer.  We are working hard to earn another game day!

 

In Computers the First graders have been practicing logging into the computer.  Practice makes you better at something and it shows.  They are getting faster logging into the computer.  Many can do it without help!  Way to go!  

 

In Computers both First and Second Grades have learned what a computer is and parts of a computer.  We have learned about how to stay safe on the internet and to ask permission to use the internet.  We have earned our first Game Day!  We played fun games. We will continue to learn about internet safety and how to be a good digital citizen in October.

 

In Computers the Third through Sixth graders have been learning about inside computer parts.  We got to look inside parts of a real computer.  We came to the conclusion that there are many components to a computer.  We have learned how to copy and paste items in a google document.  We learned how to transform font appearance.by changing the size, color and style.  We are learning how to be an upstander and about digital citizenship,  We will continue to learn about how to balance media in our lives and our digital footprint in October.  We earned our first Game Day and are working on our second game day!
