A Game with A Twist

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

4th Graders have been practicing parts of speech by playing a fun new twist on the game Spoons! They pass around cards trying to find a match of words that either sound the same but are spelled differently, or are spelled the same and have multiple meanings. Combining learning and fun has been a big hit in all of the classes!

100 Days of Kinder

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Kindergarten celebrated 100 days!
Ever thought about what you will be doing when YOU are 100? Well, these kids sure have. In kinder, before we have learned all the phonetic rules, we work on writing the sounds we hear. Which makes for the most FANTASTIC writing pieces.
