Saving Fred

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on
For the first week of school Mrs. Clare's 3rd grade class  at Meadow Brook Elementary engaged in the STEM activity "Saving Fred." Students were given paperclips, plastic cups, a gummy worm and a gummy lifesaver. With the group they were put in students had to get the lifesaver gummy under the plastic cup around the gummy worm WITHOUT touching the gummy worm or lifesaver with their hands.
