A warm smile is the universal language for kindness. Smiles are so contagious! Thank you mighty Mustang’s for spreading your kindness! The Friday challenge today is to spread kindness! Not germs! We welcome you to join the challenge today and everyday. 

We have been working on directionality for science! For our first lesson, we tested which way things will move by throwing paper airplanes outside and seeing which direction they would go. It was so fun!

To celebrate Veterans Day, all the 5th graders learned a song called Thank You Military! Ms. Owen's class did a great job singing about how grateful we are for veterans. We talked about the sacrifices they have made for us, and then the 5th graders wrote letters to veterans!
