What’s the weather?
We have been learning about types of weather! We began by talking about solids, liquids, and gas. Then we moved on to how this relates to types of weather. For art, we made these watercolor weather symbols to put on our window!

In 2nd grade we are learning the difference between a project and an experiment! We started with a fun activity where we put eggs in vinegar, water, and sprite to see what they do. Then we made elephant toothpaste! Which do you think is a science project and which is a science experiment?!
Third graders learned what was important about being team players through an activity where they needed to work together to build a tower of cups with rubber bands. Third graders learned that to be successful they need to listen to each other, suggest ideas and agree on what they were doing to complete the tower. Not only did they learn valuable teamwork skills but had lots of fun in the process!! Go Mustangs!!
In 4th grade we learned about working together as a team! Each group had to work together to stack the cups into a pyramid without touching the cups with their hands. They were given a rubber band and some string as the only tools they could use. It took lots of communication and several tries but each group was successful!
We have LOVED learning all about typing in 3rd grade the past couple of weeks, and we are getting really fast at it! Each day we spend 30 minutes learning how to type letters on the keyboard correctly. We have learned that each finger is in charge of typing certain letters. It’s really hard to keep our hands on home row the whole time, but we are pretty awesome at it!
