6th grade got to participate in the Springville Track meet on Wednesday.  We braved the cold and encouraged the only lollipop runner!

First grade has been learning about plants and the 4 things they need to survive: water, food, shelter and favorable temperatures.  Mrs. Oman’s class  played a game where they had to collect each of these items to survive. They then planted their own seeds so that they can grow plants.  

This week during library time we studied poetry for National Poetry Month. Students discussed what makes a poem, and we read some fun and silly poems together. We also each wrote our own poem in the style of Dr. Seuss.
