6th grade has been learning all about Greek History and all the Greek Gods and Goddesses. We even talked about different myths that came from the Greeks, including Pandora’s Box. The 6th grade classes put on a play called “Pandora’s Socks”. All the kids did so great and had so much fun!

Utah Symphony's Virtual Performance

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

In fourth grade, students have the opportunity of watching the Utah Symphony perform. This year looked a little different because we watched the performance virtually, but students were still able to enjoy the beautiful music. After the performance we had the opportunity to video chat with one of the members of the Utah symphony. This was a new and fun experience! Students were able to ask this musician any questions they had. They had so many great questions and learned a lot!

Getting Creative in 3rd Grade

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

We loved having the districts’s Visual Art Integration coach, Ms. Brown, come visit our third grade class! She taught us all about the history of snowglobes and then showed us how to make some cute little snowglobes of our own. We enjoyed our time with her and all that we learned about art!

Making Waves in Mrs. Simpson's Class

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

We have been learning about waves in fourth grade. We used a jump rope to create waves and looked for characteristics of waves. We learned that a wave is evidence of energy moving through water. The more energy we put into a wave the larger the wave becomes. The students had a great time manipulating the movement of the jump rope to creat different types of waves.
