Ghostly Predictions

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

Mrs. Peterson's First Grade Class had been working hard on learning about predicting in reading and writing. Today we wrote 4 clues to help you predict what we are going to be for Halloween. Then you can lift the ghost and see if your prediction is correct.

Musical Carnival

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

In Mrs. Blair's music class this week we have been learning about "Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint Saens. We have been playing  "carnival games" while listening to each movement in the piece of music.  From the slowed down version of the "can-can" for the tortoise (slowly stacking cups) to the wild donkey race (musical chairs), we had a great time learning and having fun.
