Students in Mrs. Glenn’s class designed Haunted Houses and then created math problems to match their Haunted Houses! Students had learned how to write a multi-step story problem in math the week before and applied it to this spooky art project! Check them out!!
In Mrs. Peterson's first-grade class we work hard and play hard. We have been working really hard in class in reading and math. Today we were able to take a fun break and take a field trip to Jakers Pumpkin Patch to play hard.

1st graders are getting excited for Halloween! During library time we read Room on the Broom, by Julia Donaldson, and talked about ways the witch and her friends showed kindness to each other. Students then worked hard to design their own “truly magnificent brooms” and drew the friends they would make room for.
