In Kindergarten, we love our Reading Center. We practice ways to read a book; WE CAN: read the pictures, read the words, and retell the story!
At school this past week we did a really fun activity. It was called, “The Escape Classroom.” First we all had to figure out who was in each group. In order to do that we all got different words. Today students were encouraged to walk to school or ride their bikes or scooters as we finished off our Health Week. Lots of students and their parents participated! The kids had fun running through the obstacle course, too, and the rain held off just perfectly! Students also wore exercise or sport clothing to remind them to be healthy.
Mustangs wore their pajamas on Tuesday to promote healthy sleep habits.
Kindergarten students in Mrs. Kadish's class had a lot of fun learning their ABCs. On Friday they played games that included matching, writing, and finding letters of the alphabet.
