Our fabulous PTA and Student Council held a clothing drive this month. Parents and students donated clothes, shoes, and blankets for families in need.
My class got to see a puppet show, make puppets, and then perform a puppet show. Ms. Bean came into our class and performed a puppet show. Then she showed us how to make puppets. To make a puppet you fold it in half and then staple the rest. We wrote a script and the next day we performed our puppet shows with a puppet theater.

Clark Planetarium got students excited about science by doing different types of science experiments. The students had a blast!
3rd Grade had the opportunity to have Books Art Treasure Chest come visit and share about all the different types of books that were made in ancient civilizations. Students were also able to create their own books by etching drawings into a black scratch off paper. We had a blast and learned a lot about different kinds of books!
