Cha-Cha Challenge

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

We’ve been having so much fun in PE. In addition to fun games, lots of exercising and loads of fun we’ve successfully completed the “cha cha challenge” where students do the cha cha slide from a push up position. It’s a very difficult challenge that requires a lot of focus as well as strength. It was fun to see the students push themselves outside of their comfort zones and more fun to see them succeed. PE is so rewarding :)

Habitat Day

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Second Grade worked really hard writing brochures, making slideshows, and creating habitats with a sculpture of the animal they became an expert on. We are so glad classes from the school and parents could come and learn from our second graders!

P-Party in Mrs.Nae’ole’s Class

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

In Mrs. Nae’ole’s class, each of the students read 4 books in 1 month to earn a P-Party! We celebrated our reading accomplishment with pizza, puzzles, puppets, popcorn, and lots of other things that start with the letter “p.” We are so proud of our mustang students for working hard to reach their reading goals!

Writing to a Hero

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

This week has been a very special week in Mr. Haslam’s class. Mr. Haslam’s students had the opportunity to write and thank a hero of their choice. Many of the students chose to write to their parents, grandparents, teachers and others who have had positive impacts in their lives. These were very heart warming letters with carful thought. We are so proud of these amazingly thoughtful little scholars.
