Investigation Force and Motion

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

In third grade we have been investigating all about force and motion. They had the opportunity to learn about force and motion through the building of a Rube Goldberg machine. They worked with teams to move a golf ball into a cup. They came up with some great ideas and had lots of success!

Building the Future

Submitted by marcy.caldwell on

We are so grateful to have amazing reading technicians to build the capacity of our students.  This is Mrs. Smoot and Mrs. Durfey.  They work so closely together that on occasion they show up dressed in the same outfit!  Thank you for all you do!

Kinder Working With Numbers

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Kindergarten is hard at work learning to decompose teen numbers into ten and further ones. We are using pictures, numbers, and equations to show how many different ways we can show teen numbers. Getting good at this skill will help us in first grade!

We are having so much fun in first grade learning science by exploration. We have explored sound and vibration and their relationship. In addition, students have explored the relationship between light and color.
