In 2nd grade we have been learning about landforms and changes. Students were able to design a solution to slow or prevent a change. They worked together in teams to protect their castle from the tsunami!

Music Lessons in Kinder

Submitted by megan.oropeza on Thu, 03/23/2023 - 09:34

Our kindergarten mustangs had the pleasure of getting a mini music lesson from our district music specialist, Mrs. Brockbank, on Friday! She showed us several different Irish instruments, played us a few songs, and even taught us an Irish jig! We are grateful for talented teachers to show us new things from a different culture.

First Grade Chalk

Submitted by megan.oropeza on Tue, 03/21/2023 - 11:57

First grade got to make chalk last Friday! We learned about where it comes from naturally, as well as, how it’s made in factories, and then we had lots of parents come and help make some for ourselves. When it’s done drying, we are going to try it out and see how it compares to the chalk we can buy at the store.
