A special member of our Mustang school community, Shannon Gessel is more than a classified employee—she represents the ‘greatness’ we believe everyone should possess at Meadow Brook. To both teachers and students, she is and provides asignificant support. With her characteristically cheery attitude and kind smile, Shannon elevates the lives of others with her service and hard-working spirit. According to our students, Shannon “doesn’t hesitate to help others,”; “tries to make people feel like they are important,” and, is “always so kind, SO kind!”We are very grateful for her quiet efforts and caring contributions to our school, and in recognition of Shannon’s willing and committed heart, she was nominated and awarded our Classified Employee of the Year! We are so proud of her. Along with our students, she has made an impression on our teachers who say she has “saved” them many times with her willingness to step-in, and go above and beyond the call of duty.
