Explorers Simulation

Exploring

In social studies, we did an Explorers Simulation to learn about early Explorers in American History. Our Explorers Simulation is where we roll dice, have fun, and make good and bad choices. I admit, we are a little goofy (even the teachers are a little goofy too), but we can also be serious. We don’t have to memorize what we have done in the simulation because we get to record it on paper. We also get to have cool different names. For example, my name was Miles Cortes. We love to learn because the teachers work hard to make it fun. In summary, it’s basically a history lesson but turned into a game.

The Explorer Simulation allowed us to have fun and learn at the same time. We are great hard workers and we always do our best. We are clever and find ways to get a solution. We are good sports even when everything is going wrong and we are a little upset. For example, the purple table had bad food, crew, etc in the simulation. We are strong and our wonderful teachers help us feel better. No matter how hard the task, we always use our teamwork skills. We love celebrating when we complete something. Our teachers plan all night sometimes to make us happy (they must be tired from taking care of us.)
