First grade has loved doing Math Choice boards this year! We are now expanding to Reading Choice Boards! The students watch small instructional videos from Ms. Craner so that they know how to do each activity on the board. The activities on this month's board are all about blends. We really want the students to be comfortable with reading blends. The students really enjoy being able to choose which activity they would like to do and choose their partner. These boards make it possible for teachers to then work with small groups of students on various skills that need a little extra practice. What a fun way to practice and grow!
