Meet Mrs.Michaelis, our new Music teacher! She loves to do do things with her family like hiking, backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, cooking new recipes and playing with her dog, Lindor! She graduated from Orem High school and roots for the Tigers! She later graduated from BYU- Idaho. She loves kids and loves when they find a way to express themselves through music. "Sometimes it is easier to speak through music than with words". Mrs.Michaelis loves watching a child learn something they didn't think they could do. She has 8 siblings, 6 kids, and 46 niece's and nephews. She is used to lots of sound and happy voices. She has played the cello for about 34 years! We can't wait to hear her serenade us with her amazing skills!
