Second grade students have been learning all about being good citizens. What better way to participate in citizenship than by voting! After learning all about the right to vote, the second grade had their own election. Students voted on what Thanksgiving activity they would like to participate in, and they took that privilege very seriously. After the ballots were counted, the winner was announced. Popcorn and a Thanksgiving movie got 49 votes, and making mini pies got 51 votes. Wow! It was almost to close to call, but the pies won! Congratulations to all of our little voters. We can't wait to eat those pies!
