Meadow Brook Science Fair

Submitted by lena.bird on

Fifth and Sixth grade students participated in the science fair last week.  The students worked hard learning about the scientific method and applying it to an interesting topic.  The best part was seeing the students excited about what they learned!  Congratulations to our winners and good luck at the District Science Fair!

January Superheroes

Submitted by lena.bird on

It's time once again to recognize some amazing Mustangs.  We have so many students that are acting like superheroes everyday.  They work hard, they are kind, they think of others, and they do their best.  Congratulations to all of our student superheroes.

We also want to congratulate our amazing teacher superheroes- Ms. Thomas (3rd) and Ms. Kenison (4th).  We appreciate their hard work and the kindness they show to all that they work with.  They are awesome!

Parents,

A big thanks and congratulations to all of the students who participated in our school Science Fair last week. We had a lot of student involvement and it was just fun to see the great experiments the students created. We want to thank Mrs. Gregory, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. James for organizing and running the event. The finalists will be moving on to the District competition.

I want to encourage all of our students to keep on reading! We have lots of fun prizes and incentives to help motivate our students during our reading carnival in May.

Parents,

We are excited about celebrating Family Week this week! Thank you to our wonderful PTA for all of their work with this. Please see details below regarding this week’s events.

This year we are excited about selling yearbooks that will be 60 pages long and full of color. Yearbooks will be sold for $10 each—more information about this will be coming out soon. As for now, we are looking for student’s art work to put on the front and back cover. Submissions for this contest are due on FRIDAY.—please see more information below.
