Parents,

Happy Monday! Nebo School District has created a mobile app (available for iOS and Android devices) that will give you easy access to view student information (schedules, grades, attendance, etc.) and school information (news, calendars, menus, etc.) which is retrieved from various sources. Click on this link for more information about how to install it http://www.nebo.edu/bb-mobile-app. As with any new endeavor there may be complications, so please bear with us.

Third Grade Culture Day

Submitted by lena.bird on

Third Grades culture day, during the month of November, “took” us to Hong Kong and Argentina.  William's parents taught us about Germany, where William’s mom lived!  Did you know that in Germany school starts very early, usually at 7:30 a.m. but get out around our lunchtime!  They don’t serve lunch at school, instead they have a Zweites Frühstück or second breakfast.  The biggest meal of the day in Germnay is lunch and everyone in the family has lunch together and then takes a nap.

Exploring the Constellations Through Technology

Submitted by lena.bird on

In Mrs Peterson’s 2nd grade class we are learning all about the night sky! One of our lessons included learning about the different constellations you see at night! To learn about these constellations, our class had to find QR codes around the room to scan. This would bring them to a video that would teach them all about a specific constellation! Next time you’re outside, see if your 2nd graders can find a constellation in the night sky!

 Parents,

I hope all of you enjoyed the holiday break.

December was a wonderful month at Meadow Brook! It was overwhelming to watch the kindnesses of so many! There was a tremendous amount of support with the Giving Tree and with school lunches being paid off for students in need! Thanks to each of you for making our school and community a better place to be!
