3rd Grade Celebrates Culture
Every month our 3rd graders have an opportunity to learn about cultures from around the world. Parents and grandparents volunteer to come and share things about a country they are from or have visited. We have loved having this awesome opportunity each month to learn about people from other countries and how they live their lives. Here is a video of our past culture day experiences. A big thank you to all of our volunteers who planned such great presentations to share with us! We can't wait to hear about new countries for March, April, & May!
Measuring for St Patrick's Day

Shape Pizza
Mrs. Peterson's class has the perfect recipe for Shape Pizza! After learning about different shapes, everyone was able to make their very own Shape Pizza. They picked their own shapes, and created a most delicious pizza! If you're lucky, they might just share their secret recipe with you!
Second Grade Superstars for February
Congratulations to our Students of the Month for February. They are making great choices at school and working really hard! Great job to: Daniel, Adan, Aaron, Eva, Sal, William, Max, Maureen, Elle, Alaina, and Romina. Also, great work to those students who earned Buckles this month. Keep practicing those fast facts!!
Second Grade in Wonderland
Our second grade students were excited to attend the play, Alice in Wonderland, at Scera Theater in Orem. We sat on the edge of our seats as the actors sang and performed. Some favorite parts were when the Queen of Hearts got booed, and when the Cheshire Cat's face glowed. The Dancing Cards and Mad Hatter were fun, too! Everyone enjoyed the field trip!
Representing Meadow Brook
These cute kiddos represented us well at the district science fair: Kaycee Bott, Whitney Jeffs, and Brooklyn Tolbert will all be moving on to the regional science fair. Andon Robles and Zachary Ruffner were also there.
