Hero Day

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Here at Meadow Brook we had the honor and privilege to participate in this year’s Hero Day. We are not only just blessed to have the Dyal kids at our school, but also we have Mrs Jen Dyal that subs at our school frequently. She has made such a huge impact on students, teachers, and our school here at Meadow Brook.

Miss Balli is our Star! We celebrated Principal's Day today and loved decorating Miss Balli's office and presenting her with stars in many different forms. We are so grateful for the light she brings to this school. Happy Principal's Day, Miss Balli!

Spring Has Sprung

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Preschoolers are so excited to finally get back outside after the long cold winter. They love being able to run around chasing friends as “monsters” and just enjoying the “park” as they call it. We look forward to a few more weeks of friends and outside time, before preschool ends for the year!

Cha-Cha Challenge

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

We’ve been having so much fun in PE. In addition to fun games, lots of exercising and loads of fun we’ve successfully completed the “cha cha challenge” where students do the cha cha slide from a push up position. It’s a very difficult challenge that requires a lot of focus as well as strength. It was fun to see the students push themselves outside of their comfort zones and more fun to see them succeed. PE is so rewarding :)

Habitat Day

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Second Grade worked really hard writing brochures, making slideshows, and creating habitats with a sculpture of the animal they became an expert on. We are so glad classes from the school and parents could come and learn from our second graders!

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

In Mrs. Nae’ole’s class, each of the students read 4 books in 1 month to earn a P-Party! We celebrated our reading accomplishment with pizza, puzzles, puppets, popcorn, and lots of other things that start with the letter “p.” We are so proud of our mustang students for working hard to reach their reading goals!

Writing to a Hero

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

This week has been a very special week in Mr. Haslam’s class. Mr. Haslam’s students had the opportunity to write and thank a hero of their choice. Many of the students chose to write to their parents, grandparents, teachers and others who have had positive impacts in their lives. These were very heart warming letters with carful thought. We are so proud of these amazingly thoughtful little scholars.
