Class meeting with Mrs.Ashman
One of our favorite parts of the day is class meeting! We get to make class goals, share stories, and laugh with each other! It is so fun learning how to be kind classmates and good friends.

Educators in Utah were given the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 grant from the State of Utah for classroom materials. Mrs. Anderson's 4th grade class received indoor recess and STEM materials to make indoor recess a more engaging time for students. Students have loved building, creating, and problem-solving with various blocks, Legos, puzzles, and craft materials. Mrs. Anderson loves seeing their minds stretch as their creativity gets put to good use!
Miss Oberg's class had so much fun last week! We got to celebrate Valentines day by having a party and passing out Valentines.
While exploring Jazz music, the 5th Graders practice some cool beats on our makeshift drums. They learned the difference between a straight beat and a swinging beat. Also listening to What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.
Mrs. Oman’s class is grateful to the State for funding our flexible seating and for giving the students the opportunity to move and learn.

Our kindergarten class has buddied with a 4th grade class to read together! This is so beneficial for both age groups to get exposure to books/sight words (for kinder) and to build confidence in reading skills (4th grade). We love visiting with our buddies and can't wait to see them every week!
Congratulations to Ms.Thomas. She was awarded the Crystal Apple Award for being an outstanding teacher. Each day she brings light into Meadow Brook elementary. She teaches with her whole heart. Students love Ms.Thomas. She has made a difference in many students lives. We love you!
