Getting creative during inside recess

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Educators in Utah were given the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 grant from the State of Utah for classroom materials. Mrs. Anderson's 4th grade class received indoor recess and STEM materials to make indoor recess a more engaging time for students. Students have loved building, creating, and problem-solving with various blocks, Legos, puzzles, and craft materials. Mrs. Anderson loves seeing their minds stretch as their creativity gets put to good use!

Reading buddies

Submitted by megan.oropeza on

Our kindergarten class has buddied with a 4th grade class to read together!  This is so beneficial for both age groups to get exposure to books/sight words (for kinder) and to build confidence in reading skills (4th grade). We love visiting with our buddies and can't wait to see them every week!
