Computers have been a blast! Kindergarten students have been working hard on their mouse control and how to navigate games on the computer with Teach your Monster to Read. We are beginning our new unit on coding for first through fifth grades. The first and second graders have helped their fuzz buzz get to the finish line in Kodable. The third graders have joined the academy in CodeSpark and are using problem solving skills to code their character to accomplish tasks. The fourth and fifth graders are tapping into their logic skills to code a flying car in Harry Potter and a banana gathering monkey in Space Adventure. We have many more adventures on the horizon.
