The Reading Round Up begins today! All students will bring home a packet with information about the fundraiser. Each year the school and PTA each hold one fundraiser. We are excited that it is time for our annual literacy round up in which we helped promote literacy to collect money for our instructional library and purchase technology for our classrooms. The first step is to get pledges. The paper on the envelope explains the process. Students will have the opportunity to collect pledges. We want to keep our students safe by only having them go to family members or people that they trust for pledges. We do not want children going door-to-door collecting money. The reading will take place from February 27 to March 3. During this time students will track the amount of minutes they read each day on the calendar provided in the packet sent home. The minutes will be calculated to determine the amount of money people will donate. We will also be holding an online gift back to auction starting on Monday, February 27 and ending Thursday, March 2 at the end person event. Yes Haw!
