For December, Meadow Brook students finished out Red Ribbon Week by learning about Habit 4: Think Win-Win. They watched an inspiring Olympic video that represented a Win-Win attitude. The students learned that to think win-win means to make the best of any situation. We do our best to reach our potential and we help others to reach their potential, too. A win-win person doesn’t just think about what they want, they think of other’s needs too. They think of ways to make everyone happy. If you would like to encourage Habit 4 in the home, you can have a family game night and focus on the “fun” of the game not just the winning. Books to help encourage Habit 4 are: Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, The Grinch and The Butter Battle Book by Dr. Seuss.
