The Rain Forest Van at Meadow Brook

Our second grade students recently had some special visitors.  The Rain Forest Van (from the Living Planet Aquarium) brought several animals to show our students.  They taught us all about different continents and the animals that live there.  We got to touch a cockroach, some different snakes, and a lizard.  We also got to meet a very loud bird.  Thank you Living Planet Aquarium!

In Kindergarten, we love our Reading Center. We practice ways to read a book; WE CAN: read the pictures, read the words, and retell the story!

Sixth Grade Escape Room

At school this past week we did a really fun activity.  It was called, “The Escape Classroom.”  First we all had to figure out who was in each group.  In order to do that we all got different words.  On the tables were antonyms for that word.  That was how we got into groups.  Now, here comes the hard part.  We got our first clue to escape.  We were all so confused.  We had never done  this before!  Our group thought we were right so we would go and check and…..
