Nebo School District is excited to announce the winner of our annual Christmas Card contest. Hundreds of talented elementary students from across the district submitted their artwork, showcasing their creativity and holiday spirit.
A panel of judges carefully reviewed the submissions and selected the top five finalists. One of our Cherry Creek Crocs in Mr. Jenkins 5th grade class won 2nd place in the contest. Congratulations!
If you signed up to help provide items for the Giving Tree, donations are due to the office by tomorrow. Deliveries will be made to families next week and any items not turned in or slots filled will be shopped for on Thursday- Saturday. Please call Carlene Dahl at 801-885-8263 with any concerns. Friday was Grinch Day at Cherry Creek. We had a lot of students dress up as Cindy Lou Who and the Grinch , while others wore Grinch T shirts and green attire. Thanks for making it a Fun Friday!
We have two winners for Spirit/Grinch Day. Ms. Beeson's 1st Grade Class and Mrs. Nielson's 5th Grade Class both had 100% of their students wearing Red, Cherry Creek attire or Grinch wear today. Congratulations! It's awesome to see School Spirit and so much Christmas cheer around the school!
You can tell it’s almost Christmas when you walk the halls of Cherry Creek. There are so many fun Christmas Art projects gracing the walls of the school. Ms. Christensen’s 2nd grade class even has an Ugly Christmas Sweater competition going on!
The Reflections theme for this year is Accepting Imperfection. These are Cherry Creek’s winners for Dance Choreography, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Film and Visual Arts. Congratulations. Some of these students will be moving on to the District level. Congratulations
Parents, the lost and found is overflowing with coats, sweatshirts, gloves and more. Would you mind coming in for SEP’s at the front doors and taking a look at the lost and found table for items your child might have forgotten?
It’s been a tradition at Cherry Creek’s to help out families in need. If you can help, please sign up and have the items to the office, marked with the assigned letter, by December 10th.

It's our favorite time of year, Book Fair! We need your help to make this fair a success. Please consider volunteering to work at the book fair this year. It is lots of fun and a great way to spend time in the school getting to know students, parents, teachers and staff. It is very simple and most shifts are less than an hour. You're welcome to bring young children with you during your shift. Each shift you work you may pick out a book from our collection as a thank you. On Friday, we had our Victory Assembly to recognize our Leaders of the Month, our Top Crocs and our Faculty Top Crocs. We also tracked progress for our Croc Claws and Reading Carnival Tickets. Because Cherry Creek Crocs hit their short term goal, today students were able to have a Hat Day and wear their favorite hats to school. Congratulations to all our Leaders of the Month and Top Crocs for November!

Mrs. Nielson’s 5th Grade class is on a roll! They took the Spirit Day trophy with 95% of students wearing RED or Cherry Creek School attire. Congratulations!
Students at Cherry Creek are rewarded Croc Cash for good behavior and good deeds. A couple of students saved up enough Croc Cash to buy Mrs. Darrington’s chair for a day. What a way to spend a day at school in comfort! Keep up the good work Crocs!
