We had so much fun learning about China and Mexico for our 3rd Grade Culture Day this month! We love the opportunity we have to learn new things about other cultures.

Claudia Fisher and her friend Eliza taught us all about Mexico and the origin behind the “Day of the Dead” celebration. We loved learning about how they honor their ancestors and celebrate them during that holiday.

Julie Stoddard “took” us to China where we learned about some of their traditions, celebrations, special foods, and the importance of family. We loved hearing about Chinese New Year, and the origin behind that holiday. We were excited to learn all about the Terracotta Warriors and The Great Wall. We love learning about and celebrating other cultures!
