Meadow Brook's final habit for the year will be Habit 8: Find Your Voice.  From now to the end of the year, students will focus on being able and willing to discover their strengths and talents.  Finding your voice means that you are patient with yourself.  It takes time and a lot of positive self-talk to discover your own greatness.  As we find our voice, we take the opportunity to share our talents and gifts with the world.  Through our example, we lead and inspire others to do the same.  If you would like to encourage Habit 8 at home you can do the following activities:  host a family talent show, take an online interest survey to see what each family member likes to do, and/or have each member take a turn teaching about one of their talents or strengths.  Books to help reinforce this habit are:  The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds,  Hip Hip Hooray for Annie McRae by Brad Wilcox, and The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires.
