
It’s March and time for Math March Madness,…Cherry Creek’s Multiplication Contest. Students in 3rd-5th grade took a timed math facts test to determine the Sweet 16 in each grade level. Here are the students in the Sweet 16 bracket…who will go on to qualify for the Elite 8?


Just a Reminder: SEP's on Thursday, March 6th from 3:30-8:30. While you are at school, please stop by the Lost and Found by the main entrance to the school. There are lots of sweatshirts, jackets, gloves, hats and lunch boxes that are unclaimed. Also, take a walk through the Book Fair. See you on Thursday!



Last night was Cherry Creek’s Skate Night at Classic Skate Center in Orem. Faculty, family and lots of students, past and present, came to skate, laugh and make fun memories. Thanks for supporting Skate Night!

Mrs. Nielson’s 5th grade class walks away with the Spirit Day trophy AGAIN, with 98% of the class wearing RED or Cherry Creek attire. Congratulations! Looks like they really want that pizza party!


On Friday at our Victory Assembly, we learned which students and faculty members were chosen to be Top Crocs and Leaders of the Month. Congratulations!


Mark your calendar: March 2nd-7th, Cherry Creek Literacy Week. Every night, starting Sunday, March 2nd, we will have a reading out of our bedtime chapter book, “Life According to Humphrey.” It will be posted nightly on the Cherry Creek Facebook page. Comment each night for an entry in our prize drawing.


Did I have double vision on Tuesday? It was Twinning Tuesday at Cherry Creek and many of the faculty dressed alike in pairs, trios and groups. It was fun to figure out who was twinning.


Puck, the mischevious sprite from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, strikes again! This time, he struck Mrs. Nielson’s 5th grade class by stacking desks and playing Baby Shark over her speakers on Friday. “Oh what fools these mortals be.”

Mrs. Nielson’s Class wins back the Spirit Day Trophy with 94% of the class wearing RED or Cherry Creek Attire. Congratulations!


The spirit of Puck, a mischievous nature sprite in English folklore, is alive at Cherry Creek. Mrs. Vandygriff’s class was heart attacked. On each heart was written Shakespearian insults. Pretty clever and hilarious tricksters!


There haven’t been many snowy days this year. Mrs. Brush found Cherry Creek Crocs having fun building snowmen today at lunch recess. Way to synergize Crocs!


Another 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class bought Mrs. Darrington’s chair with his Croc Cash. Since it’s become so popular in the class, he was asked why buy the Principal’s chair? He said it’s comfy and it makes him feel like a King for a day.


Just a reminder: Tomorrow is Cherry Creek Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A in Spanish Fork from 5-8 p.m. Remember to tell the cashier that you are there to support Cherry Creek.


There were so many creative Valentine’s Boxes brought to school today. The PTA chose winners from every grade level. Each child that brought a Valentine’s box got a treat from the PTA. Happy Valentine’s Day Crocs!
