Second Grade had a Christmas Around the World day! Students spent time in each classroom to learn about different cultures, countries, and holiday traditions. Students were given 'passports' and 'traveled' from country to country. Our classroom transported students to Holland where we made wooden shoes for Sinterklaas to fill with goodies. Hooray!
Meadow Brook celebrated Mighty Mustangs on Friday! We have incredible and dedicated staff members. We are so proud. We would like to congratulate Karla Craner, Ashley Porter, Jessica Goff, and Alicia Delgado. Each of the work incredibly hard at their craft and do what is best for students. Students love and adore them. Each of them things about what is best for students. We are so thankful for our Mighty Mustangs!
Our little learners in kindergarten are working hard to learn all their capital and lower case letters, sounds, and numbers 1-20 by Christmas. We celebrate them when they pass off each goal by adding their names to our classroom "wall of fame" and officially induct them into our letters, sounds, or numbers club. It can be a lot of work, but they are highly motivated and excited when they accomplish this goal! We are so proud of them and we are excited to keep adding more little learners to our club. We love our kinders!
