Yesterday we wrote our writing drafts about what we did this summer. For example, I went on a cruise, Maddie went to sea world and swam with dolphins, Jayden went jet skiing and swimming, Seth went to California and went to the beach and went to a lot of resorts and went to Las Vegas. I hope everyone had fun doing these activities. I am glad we wrote about this so they will remember what we did this summer.

In Miss Almanza’s class we are dedicated to our work and are always working hard! This week we accomplished our goal and we received another classroom party! As a class we love working together on our goals and we most certainly love classroom parties! We enjoyed showing off collections, pets, trophies, and more!

Yesterday Mr. Lewis, our school counselor, taught us the importance of critical thinking when making decisions. Then we leaned a math game where we had to use critical thinking to find the answer. The students really enjoyed it! 

Last week, students in Mrs. Clare's third grade class engaged in an Art lesson where they learned how to create self-portraits with chalk pastels. During the lesson, students learned about the famous artist, Amedeo Modigliani, and his technique for taking normal face proportions and stretching them out.
