1st graders are getting excited for Halloween! During library time we read Room on the Broom, by Julia Donaldson, and talked about ways the witch and her friends showed kindness to each other. Students then worked hard to design their own “truly magnificent brooms” and drew the friends they would make room for.

We had a beautiful day walking in Provo Canyon. There were so many wonder out things to see. Waterfalls, little pools of water, leaves, fishermen, and even the Heber Creeper train stopped when we were getting ready to go home. It is one of the best days ever.

As a school we look forward to having the opportunity to sit down with you and your student to review your student's progress and to set goals.

Students in Mrs. Anderson's class discovered more about the process of precipitation within the water cycle. Students used shaving cream, colored water, and eye droppers to fill a "cloud" full of water to see what the result was. They found that when a cloud gets heavy and full of water, the water falls back to earth as rain, snow, hail or sleet. We are learning so many new things in 4th grade this year!
