A Walk in the Canyon

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

We had a beautiful day walking in Provo Canyon. There were so many wonder out things to see. Waterfalls, little pools of water, leaves, fishermen, and even the Heber Creeper train stopped when we were getting ready to go home. It is one of the best days ever.

Making It Rain

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on

Students in Mrs. Anderson's class discovered more about the process of precipitation within the water cycle. Students used shaving cream, colored water, and eye droppers to fill a "cloud" full of water to see what the result was. They found that when a cloud gets heavy and full of water, the water falls back to earth as rain, snow, hail or sleet. We are learning so many new things in 4th grade this year!

Something to Smile About!

Submitted by sarah.ledingham on
2nd grade is getting excited. 2nd graders just finished learning how to write a narrative story. Students capped off this accomplishment by writing about a time they were excited. They then colored a cover page, each with a huge smiley face on front!
