Fifth graders had their annual track meet. Students enjoyed running in the outdoors and socializing with their peers. Each of them proves to be resilient and strong! Way to rise up, Mustangs!
Mrs. Taylor's and Mrs. Oman's first grade classes use dance during a shared reading experience to help comprehend the text!
2nd grade enjoyed sharing their habitats with all of meadow brook! We hope you enjoyed coming and seeing all of our hard work this year!
Our 4th grade classes enjoyed visiting the past at the pioneer village at This is the Place Monument park. We had a train tour of the village, learned about the Pony Express, pushed/pulled handcarts, and learned about the one room school that was part of every early Utah pioneer child’s experience. Lunch in the cool sun, lots of walking and fun on a modern playground filled the day between hour long bus ride up and back. Everyone kept saying “this is the BEST field trip!”
3rd graders spent some time learning about habitats and how people will sometimes modify and adapt an environment to live there or will modify and adapt how they live to an environment. 3rds were given a ‘never before explored environment’ and were tasked with creating how they would modify and adapt the environment to live there. They were very creative and came up with great solutions to various problems.
Way to go Mustangs!
Mr. Haslam’s third grade class has been extremely busy practicing for the RISE test. They will be taking their test starting May 2. They will do AWESOME!
Miss Owen's class and the rest of the 5th grade have been working hard preparing for Hope of America! Every day, we practice songs that we will be performing at the Marriott Center at BYU in May! The students love singing and learning about our country.
