Saying 'good-bye' is not easy! There were lots of tears and hugs today as teachers and students said their final good-byes. We've had a great school year!
Mustangs- we hope you have a safe and happy summer and we'll see you in fall! Remember, "we love you, we believe in you, and you are destined for greatness!"

It was hard, it was frustrating, but after 4 months, in Meadow Brook elementary, Mrs James’s class was on the list for the 6th grade gold medal winners for Mystery Class! How? Let's rewind all the way back:
In January, Mrs James introduced the challenge, and how there were 10 mystery cities they needed to find. Most people would turn down the chance, but Mrs James’s class pushed right ahead and said they would do it.
The 3rd grade students have been working so hard for the last 2 months to share things that they have been learning from other cultures of the world! We celebrated this through song, theater, and dance at our program on Friday, April 20th. Throughout the months of the school year, parent volunteers have come to share their love for a culture and country they have visited or are from. We learned so many amazing things this year, and would like to thank all of those who were able to teach us such cool things!

Parents & Students,
It is hard to believe that I am writing the last Monday Message of the year. It has been a wonderful year getting to know each one of you; I am not sure how we got so fortunate to have so many incredible students and teachers all in one buildingJ. Thank you for your support and contributions throughout the year! I am thrilled to be a Meadow Brook Mustang and look forward to another great year next year.
Here are just a few reminders as we wrap up:
On May 10th the 6th graders here at Meadow Brook had the opportunity to participate in a Renaissance Faire. The Renaissance Faire was an amazing thing to be able to do. Each student chose an eminent person from the period. They wrote about person, made a poster, and even dressed the part. Each class also learned a renaissance dance that they performed at the event. “The people got to play a roll and I thought that was a very important for us to be able to do that.” said one student.
Congrats to all of our awesome 4th grade students for doing their best in the track meet last week!
Free science day at BYU on Saturday, May 19 from 10 am to 4 pm at the BYU Eyring Science Center. The event is free and there is host of fun family activities including planetarium shows, sounds to astound acoustic shows, rocket building and launching, astronomy crafts, ask an astronomer, meteorites, astrobiology, and more.
